This podcast is a narrative nonfiction piece, with music clips, set on a small sailboat on a river near Savannah, Georgia. According to independent producer David Ivanick, "This is an incredibly moving piece which flawlessly blends together the histories of race, sailing, prohibition, drugs, and the criminal justice system. In doing so, it challenges some of the stereotypes we have, not only of race but of how race relates to sailing, North and South, and leisure." Please listen.

A very special thanks to the sisters of the deceased Frank Williams, who granted permission to use Frank's rap piece, "Y-Play?" and a grateful acknowledgement to Dr. Charles Elmore of Savannah State University, who wrote "All That Savannah Jazz," which provided valuable research material for this piece.
Mr. Crockett,
I've recently finished your book and have to say it's one of the best adventure books I've ever read. The only bad thing: It makes me realize how boring my own life is; stuck in the cubicle, mowing the lawn, and living my monotonous existence. I hope you have other projects in the works to keep me entertained and envious. Thank you for sharing your experience with us all.

Hi Rigel,
Had a good day with your dad - such an interesting man.
Great website. And great to see you living your dream.

Hi Rigel,
Just finished your book, it was most enjoyable to read. I visited the Picton Castle when it was in Green Bay. Wish you the best of luck.
